Blog Candy Contest

Three classes down - 3 more to go! It's a full, full day! Isn't this star amazing? It's actually very easy, and a great way to use your decorative paper. This is about 9x9"! I'm definitely going to bring this back to teach - it's great bang for the buck - easy and it doesn't require much precision. Wahoo!
I'm also having my first every blog candy contest. I got some fun little goodies I want to share, so all you have to do is post a comment to the blog sometime this weekend. (Actually through 11:59 PM Monday night). I'll choose 3 winners randomly from those who left comments to win some little goodies. Easy as that!

Cool star! And heaven knows I have half your paper selection in my stash, so supplies are not a problem. :-) Thanks for the chance to win!

Hi Angela -- How fun to meet your twin! The star is gorgeous, I hope you can teach it before Christmas b/c I'd love to use them as decorations and a smaller version would make great ornaments or gift bag bling. Buy lots of stuff for us!

I'm sure I can speak for all the Divas when I say, "We need to learn how to make that cool star!"
Enjoy your trip.

You and Laura are like ships crossing in the night! Can't wait to soak up what both of you have learned. Jennifer

I am here at the Outer Banks for two weeks. I will try quilting, jewelry making, and tatting. I played in a bridge tournament and was 2nd and 3rd, and earned my first silver points.

Looks like a great time Angela! Can't wait to see all the wonderful goodies you bring back for the shop!

For a second there, I thought the star was the "blog candy" and that you'd be bringing back some edible sugar paper or something. Guess I'm just looking for a way to combine eating and crafting ;-) Thanks for the sneak peeks, Angela!

The star is fabulous; I'm imagining an entire Christmas tree decorated with them. Hmm - I should have started last July - but you're just now taking the class. Guess I'll have to put it on my calendar for NEXT July!

The star would be great to tie on a holiday gift...actually a gift in itself...but would be a beautiful addition to a package with tag.

What fun to see you on this blog! After the beginning pencils class last week and my very own little shopping spree (smuggled into the house and right down to the basement) I feel like a fat cat stamper this weekend. I'm so happy to have found your shop and even happier to be able to learn so many things from some of the great names in stamping. Thanks!

I'm glad that you said that making that star doesn't require a lot of precision. I would never be able to make it if it did! I'd love to learn how. Enjoy Orlando ... rain or not, it's still Florida (my home state!)

It sounds like a great, productive trip! Can't wait to see what you pick up there.

Hi Angela - I broke my leg July 2 and the first fun thing I did when I could get up and out was come in for a make-n-take and sign up for a couple classes to re-energize my creative juices and of course to cheer myself up! The BEST part of my outing was when Susan said "wow, we haven't seen you in a while". I can't tell you how good that made me feel. I can hardly wait to learn to make the star!!! Joyce

Hi Angela, that star looks good enough to eat...but then I would not be able to display it on my tree. Yikes...first, I need to learn how to make it! Please come home soon and teach us. Be safe, and continue having fun with learning. Melanie
