Out and Ablout and Taking Classes

I don't know about you, but I am thrilled to be out of the house and able to go places again.  If you are tired of being around the house, why not take a class this weekend?  We have several to choose from.

The picture above is one of the quick and easy Valentine cards that will be offered in Laura's 10 in 10 Valentine class on Saturday.  Here is another:

Are you ready for the storm?

Well, it looks like a big storm is coming and we might be at home more than we expected this weekend. Do you have all the necessary supplies? For me, that means toilet paper and crafting goodies. I don't know about you, but I don't like being snowed in without something new to play with! Plus, you don't want to run out of paper or adhesives. Why not stop in tomorrow and grab something before the storm?

Here are some of companies that have arrived with new releases:

Memory Box

Impression Obsession

My Favorite Things

Reverse Confetti

Paper Smooches

Pretty Pink Posh- wait till you see the sequins!

Of course, there are lots of "staples" as well for your snowed-in crafting time:

Sweet!

I love the colors of this card - it's very Parisian!

The colors also make it a darling Valentine's Day Card - but simply change the colors, and it could also serve as a birthday card.  The "shadow image" of the child really makes the colors of the balloons pop!  Fun!

Join us this Wednesday between 10 & 8  and make one of these for yourself.  And check out all the other adorable supplies we have for Valentine's cards - lots of eye candy for you!!!  And no calories!

Solid Stamping

Sometimes it's challenging to get the more solid images and background stamps to ink smoothly.  Some of it may have to do with practice and pressure, but most of it has to do with the INK you use.

Hero Arts Shadow inks and Mid-tones are dye inks that are perfect for these kinds of stamps.  They dry to a soft, full impression that takes all the work out of stamping.

These inks also come in an Ombre pad, so you get a subtle gradient look to your images with no guesswork.

Stop in Tuesday between 12 & 2 and let Angela show you the benefits of using the yummy-colored inks!
