Many of you have "shared the wealth" over the years by donating your craft supplies (through us) to the Herndon Senior Center. They have enjoyed countless art classes and opportunities to make cards for the troops (among other fabulous projects) solely through donations of all of us.
Last week, The Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood & Community Services recognized these contributions by awarding us all the Distinguished Partner award. It recognizes those who put the "quality" in Fairfax County's quality of life. We are grateful for your help in those efforts and look forward to sharing the award with you next time you're in the shop!

What a wonderful idea! Do you have people who will sort through it if I bring you boxes? I don't want to test every marker, for example, to make sure it works...
We have not sorted the supplies in the past, but simply passed them along. I have not heard any feedback as to whether or not they've had issues with markers, ink pads, etc. that have been shared. This is a good question :-)
