Guest Artists this Week

This week is going to be incredibly busy at the store with two amazing guest artists.  We couldn't be more excited to have such well-known leaders in the industry visiting us.  One of the things we are most proud of as a local stamp store is the ability to bring in talent from around the world to our crafting community.  There is something so special about taking classes from the people who actually create the products.

I am going to highlight some of the classes this week so that you can see what we will be doing.

Our first guest this week is Els Van de Burgt, who is the owner of Elizabeth Crafts.  We have been carrying her products for quite a while and absolutely love her assortment of stickers, glitters, and metal dies.

The first class Els will be teaching is  Fun with the NEW Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies
on Thursday, October 9 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM

Here is the class description:
It's a Triple Treat - Come play and learn with Els, the owner of Elizabeth Craft Designs, and make three fabulous cards featuring a flower, penquin and snowman. This class showcases accordion dies from Karen Burniston, (the licensed artist with Elizabeth Craft Designs who was here back in April), Els brand new stand up helpers, as well as a variety of other Elizabeth Craft Designs dies, peel-offs and silk microfine glitters.

This is the flower card from the class.  The stand up helpers turn the card into a self-supporting pop-up card:
