Artists Coordinate

We have an unspoken rule here at Angela's. When you come to the store and take a class with a super crafter, like say Michael Jacobs, your crafts must match your clothing or the commemorative pictures just don't come out right. As you can see, starting with Donna Kauffman (another super-crafter with whom you can take classes) on Michael's left and working our way down to the amazing Angela , each artist has created a coordinating project. That's why this picture looks so great.
Meanwhile, I'm totally joking. It's completely random that they dressed to match their books for this picture. Wait, I'm getting word that they dressed then made their books. I'm confused now. 2 posts in one night is apparently too much for me to handle.

Let's give a huge thank you to Michael Jacobs who taught some amazing classes. Don't miss out on his classes next time - if we're lucky enough to get him back. And remember artists, dress accordingly!

Whenever I teach, I always dress so that I match my projects. If there are several projects in each class, and I'm teaching a number of classes, one whole suitcase is designated for class clothes, and i make lots of changes throughout the day. I feel that this extra attention to detail makes for a more visually pleasing class experience.

All kidding aside, I had a fabulous time teaching at Angela's, and the high point of my stay was a visit to the National Museum of the American Indian. The museum architecture and grounds are beautiful, the exhibits are amazing, and the food is outstanding.

You can view photos of projects made by artists Karen DeMeyer and Deirdre Holder at http://www.thecreativezone.com on the CLASSES page.

I look forward to my next teaching gig at Angela's Happy Stamper!

Oh, sure, NOW you tell me you were just joking. Have your fun with the new girl. Do you know how long it took me to find clothes to match Fleuriste paper? The poor girl at Macy's thought I was mentally challenged. Although, on second thought...
