Painting with Pens

Dyan Reaveley released two paint pens quite some time ago - white and black.  These fine tip pens are fabulous for journaling and doodling.  She has just released a 6-pack of colors, and Angela can't get enough!  The coverage of acrylic paint with the detail of a fine point pen - awesome!!!

Stacked Dies!

I love the "Stacked Dies" from Neat & Tangled.  When you see them in the packaging, it's a little hard to see how cool they are.  You can use them several ways - 1) simply cut a solid background for your word, 2) remove a solid piece to create a frame from your layering paper (or multiple sheets of layering paper) or 3) create a mask to color over.  We will be playing with Color Bursts during Tuesday's Learn at Lunch demo between 12 & 2 PM and the THIRD option for using these versatile dies.  Intrigued???  Stop in to find out more.  Learn at Lunch demos are always free!

Layered and Framed - oh my!

At first glance, it looks like 3 different dies were layered to achieve this look.  However, this is done with a single die.  Join Angela Tuesday between 12 & 2 to learn how to cut a frame with this die (keeping the word straight - there is a trick to that!) and then how to make layers.  We will also be working with the new Paper Cut Glitter Paper (don't worry - absolutely no glitter escapes from this paper - you will love the mess-free shimmer).  As always, demos are completely free and no reservation is required!  See you there!

All Occasion Card!

The  FREE make-and-take features stamps and dies from Neat & Tangled.  This intricate die creates a space for the sentiment to really "pop"!  We used the Happy Mother's Day stamp (because timing is everything), however this set has several other options for you to select to personalize your card for that special someone!
