Simple Elegance

Angela is back with yet another way to make use of your dies!  (Don't you just LOVE options!).  Join her Tuesday anytime between 12 & 2 and learn how to foil your die cuts.  There is a lot of bang for the buck in this technique!  The foils come in a wide variety of colors, too!  Perfect for your holiday projects.  And, gold foil is more economical than actual gold leaf.  Gotta love it!

Ken Oliver Craft Mat and Upcoming Party

We have had customers asking about how Ken Oliver's new craft mat compares to others. Here is a video that tells you more about it:

Oh Happy Day!

Have you ever wondered what to do with some of the fabulous frame dies we have in the store?  Have you ever even thought about combining dies to make a scene?  Honestly, I was stumped until I saw what the Happy Stamper elves did with this combination of Impression Obsession and My Favorite Things dies and stamps.  Brilliant!

Join Angela any time between 12 & 2 on Tuesday and learn more about working with Gelatos.  They are one of the most versatile coloring media on the market today.  They are entirely water-soluble, but once they are dry, they are permanent.  This means they apply easily and can be layered without smearing or smudging the work done before.  You are going to love these!  Stop in tomorrow and try them for yourself.  You don't need a reservation, and the demo is completely free!

Ahhhh Fall!

Join us Wednesday anytime between 10 & 8 for our FREE card make-and-take.  This stunning card features the new falling leaves embossing folder from Echo Park.  We also used Distress Inks and the My Favorite Things background stamp to create the background.  (Special Note - join us for our FREE anniversary Open House on Saturday, October 3 for tons of other ideas for stamping with the My Favorite Things background stamps.  Deb will be demoing them from 2:30 - 4).

The little accent tag is created with the Taylored Expressions Mini Tag Die set and some Lawn Fawn twine.

Prismacolor Perfection!

Join Angela for another fun Learn-at-Lunch.  She'll be showing you some of the cool things you can do with Prisamacolor Pencils, including creating "texture" and "design" with a stylus tool.  You'll also learn some blending techniques and play with how beautifully they color on dark surfaces (by coloring this Inchie).  Here, we incorporated the Inchie into a card, but you could also make magnets or decorate frames or boxes.  So much fun!

The Learn-at-Lunch is FREE and available every Tuesday between 12 & 2 PM.

Translucent Beauty!

Join Angela this Tuesday between 12 & 2 and make your own Shrink Art embellishment.  This fabulous bird was cut from a die, colored with Gelatos and shrunk to fit perfectly with this background stamp.  Angela will show you some other coloring techniques, including alcohol inks and colored pencils.  She also show you how to create texture in your piece.  You can turn your projects into embellishments, jewelry, ornaments and more.  The Learn at Lunch is always FREE and no reservations are required.

Three new collections of paper arrived that you are going to love. We have 6" x 6" packs, 8" x 8" packs, 12" x 12" packs, and individual sheets. We had paper come in from several companies at the same time, so we had to put the new Graphic 45 in the paper room rather than the new section. Be sure to look for it the next time you at the store

For every $10 you spend at the store on merchandise, classes, or gift certificates (special orders and items on hold are excluded from the promotion), you will receive a coupon for a free Copic pen refill (any size pen). Bring your pens with you on Saturday to have them refilled immediately or save your coupon to use at a later date.

It is that time again....the new My Favorite Things release is here. I am going to split it into two posts because there is just so much to see. There are new stamps, dies, and stencils.
