Blending the Chameleon Way!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  If you've seen our new location, you'll know we have a lot to be thankful for!  And we count each one of you as someone who makes us grateful!

We will be CLOSED Thursday AND Friday, November 27 & 28.  We will be open our regular hours on Saturday (10-5) and Sunday (12-5).  Saturday is Small Business Saturday, so if you haven't yet, be sure to register your American Express card at www.shopsmall.com.  Then, when you use your card with us on Saturday, you'll get a $10 credit on your statement when you buy $10 or more.  And, you get to do this 3 times!!!!

Also, we're excited that Eileen Hull will be here on Saturday from 11-1.  She has a brand new "Vintage Collection" set of dies available from Sizzix. Come let her show you all the great gift holders you can create!  Isn't this bread box adorable???

Inchies have Grown!

Join Dee this Tuesday between 12 & 2 for fun with "Inchies".  These inchies have grown to a fun and fabulous 3x3" size!  Dee will give hints and tips for stamping on these black matboard surfaces and for adding color, too!  As always, our Learn at Lunch demos are FREE and you don't need to pre-register.  See you there!

Ready for the party?

Are you ready to celebrate?  We are!  We are looking forward to officially celebrating our new store on Saturday.  We have been very busy unpacking items in anticipation.   Besides the new stamp company, we'll have demos, make it take its, a guest artist, a guest author, and lots to see- including these Gelli plates just in.  And the best part is we now have the extra large plates perfect for using with fabric.  Woo hoo!

Fun & Festive!

Marilynn was so inspired by Dyan Reavely's visit last month, that she kept the party going!  I love the idea of using Christmas paper and Dyan's stylish stamps to make a unique holiday card this year!  The little gem on the hat is the perfect finishing touch!

Stop in Thursday between 10 & 8 to make one for yourself.  Who doesn't love taking a few minutes out of a hectic day to play with paper dolls?  :-)

New Graphic 45

The new Graphic 45 collection is here, and it is gorgeous! It has papers for every season, so you could make calendar projects or scrapbook any occasion. If you are a cardmaker, there are papers to help you make cards for an entire year.

Pan Pastels

I must admit - I'm a fan!  Join me Tuesday between 12 & 2 for a FREE demo on Pan Pastels, and I'm pretty sure you will leave a fan as well.

These are incredibly creamy, pigmented chalks.  They are so easy to blend, and apply - even to large surfaces.  We'll create backgrounds, we'll use them with stamps and stencils, and we'll even do some "reverse stenciling", where we actually remove color with an eraser. 

This is a "can't miss" demo, so be there or be square!

Grand Opening Party

The countdown is on to our "Official" Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, November 22nd.  It's an all day event with a guest artist, demos, Make It Take it's and more.  Come in for some of the fun so be sure to mark this on your calendar!

Celebrate!

We have lots of celebrating going!  We're celebrating our new store, Angela was licensed into ministry this past weekend, we have holidays coming up, and birthdays!  Our card this week is focused on celebrating birthdays, but all you would need to do is change the message and it could be a card for any occasion .  We will be using one of Dyan Reavley's bird sets.  These birds are definitely in a party modd with whimsical, festive hats.  What is it about birds with party hats that automatically puts a smile on my face?

Fun With Mama Elephant

Our latest shipment from Mama Elephant arrived. Yeah! Their new release goes "live" on the 15th of each month. As a Mama Elephant retailer, we aren't allowed to show you the images or sell them until that date. However, we can tease you a bit.

Painting with Embossing Powder

This wreath image is the Stamp-of-the-Month from Great Impressions.  The card sample they created with it is for Christmas.  But when I looked at it, I saw fall.  Join me tomorrow between 12 & 2 to learn little tips and tricks for using multiple colors of embossing powders without tainting every color that you own!  See you there!

New Products!

Now that we have moved locations and are settled, the boxes of goodies have started to arrive. First, there is an advanced Spring release from Pink Ink. They always send us the most amazing samples, so you will want to bring your camera the next time you are in.

Learn at Lunch

Hi there! We are up and running in the new space and are back to our regularly scheduled program. Join us Tuesday, Nov 4 between 12-2pm for our free Learn at Lunch as well as Thursday, 6 anytime between 10am-8:30pm for our free make and take card.

Angela will be demoing the brand new Ranger Texture Paste as well as the brand new texture tools this Tuesday from 12-2pm. Come in and learn all about these great products.

First Day

Thank you so much for those of you who stopped by our first day at the new store! It was so much fun to show people around the space. The comment we heard most was "We love the light." The new space is definitely roomier and brighter.

We contined to organize the new space and even entered new product. Here are some of the new goodies:

The wreath is the stamp of the month for November and is half off for this month only. It is used as a holiday card in this sample, but you could change the colors to make it a Fall card.

Chickadee stamps are always popular, and we got more in the new Northwoods shipment. In general, Northwooods has great nature images that make beautiful holiday cards.

We also have new sayings and stamps from Magenta. The doodle stamps remind me of Zentangle patterns.

Our first batch of 6" x 6" paper packs from Doodlebug sold out quickly, and we had to get more:

We noticed that more and more people were asking for nesting dies in various shapes, so we ordered stars, hearts, circles, rectangles, and pinking squares from WPlus9:
