Blog Candy - Hero Arts 2011!

This is one of our favorite times of the year. Box after box arrives at the store with product that even we have never seen! Hero Arts does the largest product release of any company we know, and we have it right now! (The 5 boxes of catalogs should hopefully arrive today, but the stamps are here). This year, Hero as been very generous with the sneak peeks. If you haven't been following their blog, take a look at this fun video. Each of their artists, including our friend Jennifer McGuire, shows you their favorite new stamp. Fun! Take a look and then leave a comment with the stamp that is your favorite (you can also visit the shop for a close up look at the stamps). I'll be choosing three of the comments randomly for some fun Hero Arts prizes. I'll announce the winners on Monday here on the blog. I can't wait to hear what you think!

Well, it was hard to see the detail, buy my favorite stamp from the preview was the one modeled by Einstein (Sally's dog). I love flowers and it looks like a nice large one that you could put bling in the center of. It also looks like I could use vellum and watercolor markers (techniques from Angela's outlines stamp class) with this one.

So far my favorite is the great big "Best Wishes on Your Birthday" stamp from the Friends and Treasures set. I never seem to have enough birthday sentiments so I'm always on the lookout for more!

I loved the little foxes, but I think I would get more use out of one of the large background stamps like the one Jenn McGuire used to create a quick card or the page of background stamps that Nancy Taylor showed us. I'm excited about seeing the rest of the new releases, too.

I love the background stamp that Shari Carroll shared. There's nothing more relaxing than coloring an image with Copics or colored pencils. This stamp will be on my Santa wish list (if I don't buy it for myself before then!)

Wow! So many great projects on the HA blog hop! My favorite stamp, I think, is the fabric background, which looks great done in paint or ink. The phrases in the neat frames are fun, too!

I loved the set of telephones (yes the good old fashioned ones!). Saw them in the store on Saturday and had to have them - have a zillion uses for them.
