A very Special Learn at Lunch

Marilynn has been with us since before we opened, 14 years ago.  She painted slat wall in the original store, and she made almost all of the card samples we had on display on day 1.  She is so creative, she would often take card samples we received from vendors and make them BETTER!

She taught our Techniques classes, Stampscapes and Art Journal, among others.  And she was the queen of displays!!!. 

Marilynn will be here Tuesday, April 4 between 12 & 2 to lead the FREE Learn at Lunch demo using new techniques with Stencils.  Please stop in and get messy with her one more time.  (We hope she will get to do a few more events with us, but her craft room is being packed as we speak.  So, if you are at all able, plan to be here on April 4 so you don't miss out).

**If you are not able to be with us, please email us greetings to share with her.  We will have a journal for folks to sign who come to the demo, and we will add your notes to the book as well.  Or, better yet, send her a hand stamped card to the shop!!!

Stamping Bella and Bow Easy

Hi guys.  Laura here.  There is new Stamping Bella at the store that you won't want to miss.  Their images are absolutely perfect for coloring. Fun!

Also, have you ever seen my Bow Easy tutorial?  It is an old one, but it shows you how to use one of my absolutely favorite stamping tools.  It is one of the few tools on my "must have" list.  Of course, we currently have them in stock at the store.

Free Saturday Make and Take and Trunk Show!

We are very excited to offer a free Make and Take tomorrow, Saturday April 1st from 2-3:30.  The make and take will be offered by Denise Storck, the owner of the Project Bin.  Denise designed a very special stamp set called "Spencer's Set" that was created to raise awareness about autism.  April 1st is the start of Autism Awareness month, so the timing of the set is absolutely perfect.  The stamp set will be at the store for sale, and a part of the proceeds from the sale of the set will go towards autism research.  Not only that, but Denise will be bringing additional stamp sets with her for a mini trunk show.  It is a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause, meet and support a local stamp company, and you even get to make a free card to share with someone you love.  See you then!

New Memory Box and Videos

We have a HUGE shipment of Memory Box that arrived, so we wanted to share with you a couple of videos and pictures to help inspire you on how to use the new goodies. I know all the ocean themed dies make me ready for warmer weather. Plus, don't even get me started on all the woodland fairies.  They are wonderful!

Wednesday Free Make and Take

The @tayloredexpressions Grumplings are so much fun to color and make into cards.  The ironic thing is their grumpiness always puts a smile on my face!  Join us Wednesday, March 29th anytime from 10am-8:30pm to make your own free "grumpy" card.  Not only will you leave with a great card but you will also practice coloring with @copicmarker Perfect!

The Nitty Gritty!

Join Angela this Tuesday any time between 12 & 2 and try the Ranger Distress Grit-Paste.  This wonderfully creamy paste maintains its texture after it dries without becoming brittle!  You'll learn how the paste "accepts" different Distress products to add color.  And, you'll get to play with the brand new Tim Holtz mini stencils.  So much fun and full of free-liciousness!
