Snow day

The store is closed today due to the snow and ice storm.  Hope you got to stay home and stamp!  We hope to up and open tomorrow in time for the Demo, but call first to make sure we are open.

Taylored Expressions Classes and Free Make and Take

One of the best things about having a local stamp store is the opportunity to interact with guest artists.  We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting Taylor VanBruggen, the owner of Taylored Expressions this upcoming Friday and Saturday.  She will be offering 2 amazing workshops on Friday, February 19 which she will repeat on Saturday, February 20 to accommodate all schedules. There are only a few spaces left, so don't wait till the last minute to sign up if you are interested. 

The first class is called "Taylor's Favorite Techniques - Inked Embossing and Paper Piecing"

We are also excited that Taylored Expressions is offering the following card as a free MITI at the store Friday night (while supplies last).  This offer is available to everyone, and there is no need to preregister to make the card.  Just stop by after work, meet Taylor, and peruse their amazing products.

CHA Fun

We are so happy that CHA orders are starting to arrive! Lots of fun new things to play with. Are you getting a lot of stamping done during this cold, cold weather?

New Sample Boards

We have several new sample boards at the store that make card making so easy. They have lots of ideas for card design, and we have all the stamps to recreate the cards. Don't forget to take close up pictures of the boards the next time you are in so that you can remember how to make the cards!

Brand New

Several new and exciting things to share with you today.

First, check out our new Gelatos display. Aren't the colors wonderful?

Next, there is a whole bunch of new Memory Box at the store. Need some ideas for using their products? We have lots of pictures to share with you. Anything with a heart could be used as a last minute Valentine, but why not change out the colors to make beautiful wedding or anniversary cards? We are often asked for for wedding and anniversary card ideas, but I think sometimes people forget that Valentines are easily adapted for both occasions. My personal favorite color palette is cream or white paired with silver....very elegant!

A side note about all the Easter plushies made out of felt in the pictures- the dies cut all the holes for you for easy sritching.

Who doesn't love Sweet Tea?!?!

This week's FREE make-and-take card features an adorable stamp set (full of cute images and TONS of words to go along with them!) from Your Next Stamp.  This card can be used for Valentine's Day, or for any time you want to send some encouragement!  Drop in any time Wednesday between 10 & 8 and make one for yourself.  Sharing it will make you happy twice!!!!

So Much to Share

Buckle up. This post is going to be a long one! I swear, when it rains, it pours. There is a lot to talk about at the Happy Stamper.

First, we are on Instagram! We would love it if you would start to follow us. Our plan is to update frequently so that you can keep up to date with what arrives at the Happy Stamper as it is happening.

Next, we put hundreds of sheets of 12" x 12" patterned paper on the 40 cent table (located at the back of the store). Why? We have an incredible amount of paper scheduled to arrive from companies such as jillybean soup, Graphic 45, Bo Bunny, Kaiser Craft, Bella Blvd, and Photoplay......we needed the room!

Finally (at least for today).... The new products from MFT arrived. Insert obnoxious happy dance here. Need inspiration of what to do with their new stamps, dies, and papers? How about these samples?
