Super Special Sale!

While Angela and Marilynn are at a trade show this weekend, the staff is having a sale this Saturday and extending the staff discount to everyone.  After all, while the cat's away.....

20% off everything in the store.

As with all our sales, the discount doesn't apply to classes or items "on hold."  This is a great time to pick up Copic markers, some of the new Memory Box dies, Dylusion Sprays, reinkers, ink pads, a Cuttlebug, glitter, or just about anything!

As an inside joke, the staff is calling this the "Nutty Buddy" sale.  Angela told us once about a friend of hers who gave their son an open account at a country club snack bar.  That lasted until they got the bill.  The only thought the dad had on how the bill got so high was that his son was acting like a mini Rodney Dangerfield and shouting, "Nutty Buddies for everyone!"  For us, whenever we are being generous with someone else's money, it is a "Nutty Buddy" moment.

Think about joining us on Saturday.  After all, it is Nutty Buddies for Everyone!!!!

So Punny!

I'm not sure what it says about me, but I love a good pun!  I also really, really love cheese.  So.....is this card perfect for me, or what????  Join us Thursday between 10 & 8 and make one of these cards absolutely FREE!  In this card, Marilynn used a "Twinchie" (a 2" square piece of matboard) as her stamping surface.  The stamp and phrase are by a new company we just added to the shop - Gourmet Stamps.  They have lots of fun puns and images to color!  We used Copics to color and shade the images - shading really adds depth to a simple graphic. 

Thankfully, this cheese is not Munster - because that would make it 2/3 of a pun.... P  U 

(Get it???)  Sigh......

Elizabeth Crafts

Need a little sparkle in your life? We absolutely love the fine-detail glitter we get from Elizabeth Crafts, and it now comes in a new 1/2 oz size. They have also started making dies, and we received some of their new "bug" dies such as dragonflies and lady bugs as well as some of their new greeting dies.

What a Scene!

This card is ADORABLE!  I love how Marilynn has made use of the fence card Accu-cut to create a spring scene!  She added texture with some ribbon weaving (look closely - it's very clever) and then colored the stamped image (Inky Antics) with Copics.  There is nothing like a little coloring to perk up your day - so stop in and do some on Thursday anytime between 10 - 8.  Absolutely FREE! 

Lovely Lockhart

A new shipment from Lockhart arrived and is loaded with summer goodies. We ordered a lot of images that fit onto 1" inchie squares and are the perfect size to make magnet or bookmark gifts for Mothers' Day.

New Memory Box...Stamps!

What?! What is that you say? Memory Box has new stamps? Yes...and they just arrived! If you need inspiration, Memory Box is having a "stamps only" week on their Outside the Box blog April 8-12. Check out their blog to get ideas, and then stop by the store to pick up your favorites.
