Irish Blessing!

Celebrate March 1 (the official beginning of "St. Patrick's Day season") by joining us for this FREE make-and-take card. To create the background, Marilynn used one of the new stencils from Creative Imaginations and VersaFine ink. I often think of applying a spray ink to stencils, so this was a fun twist on this technique. Stop in Thursday between 10 and 8 to make one for yourself - you'll be green with envy if you don't!

Off the Grid!

Perhaps you've used the Scor-it tool before to crease your paper before folding it, but have you used it to make decorative score lines? It's wonderful for embossing frames around your stamped images! Join Jenn this Tuesday to create this framed tag. Jenn also used the Scor-it to make a lattice. Because she used white core paper (from Memory Box), she was able to sand the embossed lines to make them really pop! Fun! Stop in Tuesday any time between 12 & 2 and give it a try.

Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

The new Tim Holtz Distress Markers are here! Come on in and get them....

Sweet and Sassy!

Sweet and Sassy is one of the new companies we featured at our Open House earlier this year. If you didn't get a chance to see their fabulous clear stamps sets - this is your chance! And, you get to play with them as well! Sometimes, I confess I don't know what to do with these really solid silhouette stamps, but Marilynn put them to great use by stamping them on patterned paper! And I love how she paper pieced the umbrella to give the card a splash of color and a cool focal point. Stop in Thursday between 10 & 8 to make one for yourself. And stop back to our blog frequently over the weekend. We'll be posting lots of pictures of the new products that have started to roll in from CHA!

Run for the Border!

When I think of my border punches, I'm usually thinking of making a long border along the edge of my card. But Jenn is entirely more creative than that! She has used 4 different Fiskars border punches on this little tag, and the combined effect is cute, cute, cute! I love the layering she did at the bottom of the tag - I wouldn't have thought of that! Stop in Tuesday between 12 & 2 and let Jenn show you how easy it is to line up these punches to get a continuous punch - even though you move the paper. Fun!

Fun with Memory Box!

Stop in Thursday and make this fabulous birthday card featuring all new stamps and paper from Memory Box! The decorative paper strip down the left side of the card looks like ribbon - I love it! And I love the extension of the purple into the wreath - there's something so very "springy" about it! Drop by any time between 10 & 8 and make one for yourself - FREE!

I've Been Framed!

Happy Valentine's Day! Stop by Tuesday and "share the love" during our lunchtime demo. This week, we're playing with Frame-it stamps. Completely change the look of stamps you already have by "framing" them in these rectangles (or squares or other shapes - there are lots to choose from). It's so easy, and it doesn't require cutting of any kind - I LOVE that!

Ahhh, the versatility!

These cute little bird and heart stamps are part of the new Savvy Stamps Valentine collection. But why limit them to just once a year? By pairing these stamps with an all-occasion phrase, Marilynn designed a card that you can use over and over again!

Stop in this Thursday between 10 and 8 and make one for yourself, or for that special someone. A Tweet for your Sweet!

Sew Stamping!

Like the look of stitching but lack the patience to actually do it? Boy, have we got a tool for you! We R Memory Keepers has created all of their fabulous stitching patterns in stamp form! Simply roll on your stitches - it can't get any easier than that! I had figured out making borders and frames with the stitched look, but Jenn took it one step further. Wow - look at the creative geometric collage she made by combining stitches!!!! Love it! Stop in Tuesday between 12 & 2 and give it a try for yourself. You'll want to stitch everything!
